The respondent reported that there was no access to doctors or psychologists at Paranesti and officers reportedly refused to provide any medical help to detainees who asked for it. Officers reportedly took detainees to isolated rooms and inflicted beatings on them, as a form of punishment for perceived bad behaviour.
