The respondent reported the death of one detainee due to medical neglect. Following this death, there was a protest within the facility and the officers reportedly reacted aggressively towards the detainees. Riot police arrived wearing facemasks, carrying sticks, and used tear gas. The respondent did not witness any violence directly by the riot police. Detainees were forced to remain in their rooms.
