The respondent related an incident during which five detainees started a hunger strike to protest against the “very terrible situation we are in”, and were reportedly subsequently transferred to “Alladapon” (Petrou Ralli). He explained that they have been subjected to physical violence by the authorities: “They act very violent and inhumane, that’s what happened to these 5 people. They were kicked in the leg, fell down, they tied their hands together [...] and then held by the neck and brought outside.”
