Upon apprehension, the officers reportedly held the respondent's face on the ground, on top of a rock, and started beating his face. In Orestiada, the respondent was detained in isolation for 14 days in a dark room. Furthermore, the officers confiscated the respondent’s phone, made him unlock it, and refused to give it back to him even after he was released.
